Our community also offers an innovative memory care program, Join Their Journey®, for seniors affected by Alzheimer’s or dementia. Our common areas – including our lovely dining room, wellness center and grand front porch – give residents and their loved ones the opportunity to get to know one another. We also offer a wide range of activities each month, including off-site excursions to local tourist attractions. While located in the rural rolling hills of Carroll County, Summerville at Westminster is convenient to the Town Mall, many banks, shopping and restaurants along Main Street, the Arts Council, Wal-Mart and McDaniel College, as well as several small parks and the Carroll County Farm Museum. In addition, Carroll Hospital Center and a nursing home rehabilitation center are also close by if ever needed.
